Nokia 2600 Review

Available in the UK from September 2004, the Nokia 2600 is another "back to basics" phone from Nokia: no camera, no radio, a basic colour screen and, mercifully, a conventional keypad layout!
The Nokia 2600 is not rich in features, but is a nicely styled phone that fits in your pocket and is easy to use. The integrated handsfree speaker is a nice touch.
For some resaon, Nokia have decided to incorporate a spreadsheet function into the Nokia 2600. On a screen with just 128 x 128 pixels, this is an interesting decision!

Features of the Nokia 2600 include:
  • 4,096-colour display, 128 x 128 pixels
  • Built-in handsfree speaker
  • Polyphonic ringtones (built-in; not downloadable)
  • Composer for mono ringtones only
  • Built-in games
  • Changeable front and back Xpress-on™ covers
  • Animated screensavers
  • Spreadsheet
  • Customizable converter
  • Calculator
  • Calendar with daily/weekly/monthly views
  • Phonebook with storage for up to 200 entries and up to 250 entries on the SIM card
  • Vibration alert
  • Weight: 95 g
  • Size: 108 x 46 x 20 mm
  • Talktime: up to 3 hours
  • Battery standby: up to 10 days
  • Dual-band operation
